Egret. Lover's Point, Pacific Grove, CA. I didn't have my long lens, so I was out on the rocks building a rapport with this bird, slowly approaching it a step or two at a time. After five minutes or so, just as I was getting into position, a bubbling, smiling 20something couple came up behind me and starting loudly taking selfies. So, this shot is an almost.
