Polar bear tracks.


Polar bear tracks. These tracks are from the big male that got tranquilized and choppered to the holding facility. There was a total Apocalypse Now moment while we were photographing these - animal control came out in a helicopter and flushed the bear by buzzing the chopper about ten feet from the ground. About fifty feet away from us and just on the other side of some trees. (I am mildly embarrassed to admit that I did not get a decent shot of the helicopter during this...)

    Really i wish could see such moment with the bear! But don't. Feel bad surly it Wasn't the moment for a shot.... I love your pics !!
