Let's set awhile, take in the view.
I found this spot while trying to work my way south from Sweeny Ridge along the Sweeny Horse Trail. Eventually, the trail seemed to peter out but I walked where Google Maps insisted that there was a path, and I wound up here. The archeological evidence of the path continued on for 30 meters or so and ended at an old gate, mostly buried in vegetation, with San Mateo County Water District and No Trespassing signs. The chairs have been abandoned for a long time.
